Here's a summary of the opportunity:
Team USA Welcome Experience (TUWE) is the first stop for members of Team USA as they arrive for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As the athletes go through TUWE, they stop at several stations, including Nike, Ralph Lauren, Oakley, Skims, and New Era where they receive their official team gear. In addition, they get sized for their Olympic or Paralympic ring, create social media content, and experience other exciting and engaging stations presented by our Partners and Licensees. TUWE is a fun and fast-paced environment that sets the tone for the entire Games experience for Team USA athletes.

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) needs hardworking and energetic volunteers with superior customer service skills to assist with a variety of positions to make the Team USA Welcome Experience run as smoothly as possible. Volunteers will need to speak English and are responsible for coordinating and funding their own travel to Milan/Venice, transportation while in Milan/Venice, accommodations, and meals outside of their scheduled shifts during the Games.

Here are the key dates for the volunteer opportunity:

  • Paralympic Games – February 27, 2026 to March 6, 2026
Non-local volunteers should arrive in Italy at least the day before their first shift to acclimate to the time zone and climate. Orientation will be conducted during volunteers’ first shift at TUWE, with function-specific orientation conducted in subsequent shifts as needed.

Volunteers are encouraged and expected to work a minimum of three (3) shifts total over the course of TUWE operation with a minimum of five (5) hours per shift (e.g., 08:00 to 13:00 or 13:00 to 18:00). Days do not need to be consecutive. Deviation from this schedule will be considered on an individual basis. Schedule is tentative and subject to change. Shift hours may vary depending on volunteer post and athlete schedules and may be extended to suit business needs without notice. Volunteers may be assigned other duties during shifts, as needed.
