Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The Associate Fundraising Data Analyst supports the organization’s fundraising efforts by providing high quality donor database (Salesforce) and analytics support to the USOPC’s Development Division. Primary responsibilities include fundraising data management and vendor support, donor database support, and reporting and analytics.
As a member of the USOPC’s Development Division, the Associate Data Analyst also works for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation (USOPF), the organization charged with raising philanthropic support for the USOPC and Team USA.
Here’s how you’ll have an impact:
Fundraising Program Data Management (35%)
1. Establishes and maintains best practice data transfer processes to ensure the timely, accurate flow of data between internal systems and vendors. Monitors processes and outputs for accuracy.
2. Serves as subject matter expect on all fundraising data sources. Regularly refreshes technology stack documentation and diagrams.
3. Collaborates with department program teams, especially Annual Giving and Foundation Operations. Actively participates in weekly results and status calls with staff and vendors to provide insights and perspective. Liaises with IT to complete projects and tasks.
4. Understands complete gift processing procedures to ensure accurate and auditable gift information and reporting.
Donor Database Support (35%)
5. Provides database administrative support for the USOPF Salesforce environment including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, data updates, process automation and other routine tasks.
6. Assists in regular training for new and existing staff including training documentation with the flexibility to support the needs of end users at all skill levels.
7. Acts as team resource and liaison. Identifies and implements functionality improvements and assists with case resolution. Works across the Development division to support and establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
8. Maintains key data quality initiatives within database platform including updating contact information/preferences, constituent merges, and marketing data standardization.
Reporting and Analysis (20%)
9. In partnership with Manager, Development Analytics, creates, manages, and distributes standard and ad-hoc data reports demonstrating fundraising performance (e.g., donor pipeline and portfolio, Annual Fund campaigns, giving trends) for audiences ranging from department staff to division and executive leadership (USOPC and USOPF).
10. Maintains and expands use of data visualizations for key program metrics.
11. Execute data projects and technology initiatives.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Business Administration
